 Peters Opal, one of Europe’s largest distributors of sailing and motor yachts, is celebrating a successful 2006 Southampton Boat Show. The Peters Opal group saw an improvement in sales on last year across all of the six brands distributed - Bavaria, Legend and Island Packet sailing yachts and Rodman, Sealine and Azimut motor yachts.Brian Peters, Chairman of Peters Opal, commented; “Our success at the show is down to the professionalism of the Peters Opal team and their extensive trade knowledge at dealing in multi-brand sales. At Peters Opal, we have a sales team that are second to none and who excel at providing outstanding customer service. All of our twelve sales outlets, which distribute Peters Opal’s six brands, were represented at the show.” In addition to outstanding sales success, Peters Opal is also celebrating two coveted awards. They were announced as the world’s Number One Rodman sports boats dealer for 2005/2006 and also as the International top dealer for Island Packet Sailing yachts. The Azimut range, distributed exclusively by Peters Opal in the UK since 1st September 2006, was particularly well received. The star of the show was the Azimut Leonardo Flybridge 98, the biggest and most expensive boat at the show which attracted intense media interest. The luxurious hot tub and cool, contemporary design attracted celebrity visitors, including renowned chef, Jean–Christophe Novelli. Peters Opal ran many events for their customers during the show, including a Sealine Owner’s Association launch party, and a Bavaria Owner’s Association party. The show also acted as the platform for the launch of the Platinum Package, a unique, luxury offering from Peters Opal.
