 Hamble Point Marina will host the UK’s largest used boat show this September, offering visitors to the Southampton Boat Show an alternative show that caters for used boats. The Show, which has proved popular throughout its 12 year history, will take place between the 15th – 24th September.“This year’s Show will feature more than 300 boats from a wide variety of manufacturers,” says Jonathan Walcroft, Assistant Manager at Hamble Point Marina. “Many boats are bought at this event and we are committed to ensuring that all our visitors receive excellent service and have a great day out.” Conveniently located less than 15 minutes from Southampton Boat Show, Hamble’s ‘Used Boat Show’ is the ideal place to visit during this annual event. The show not only benefits from a vast selection of boats, but also free entry and parking, and a complimentary shuttle service between the two Shows, as well as numerous new boat sales agents who will be available to help assist customers in selecting their ideal craft. MDL owned and operated, Hamble Point Marina has over 60 marine companies based at its premises, offering a wide range of services such as finance, sail makers, insurance and chandlery. Visitors to the show will be able to visit the Ketch Rigger bar and restaurant as well as benefit from the advice and skill of companies such as Barclays Marine Finance, Boat Care Yacht Surveys and repairers, including Desty’s and Osmotech. The ‘Used Boat Show’ is open from 9am – 6pm, every day from 15th – 24th September 2006. There is excellent road and rail access for visitors.
