 Lagoon Watersports offers Yacht training, charter and day sailing from Brighton Marina. The sea school focuses on RYA training for both the practical and theory of yacht sailing, larger boat dinghy sailing, keel boats and powerboating. Training takes place on brand new Beneteau 36.7 First yachts providing clients with both unrivalled performance and comfort during there yacht courses. Combine this with highly motivated skippers and clients keen to learn, you have the ingredients for not only a very informative experience but a lot of fun too! Situated in a unique floating building in the heart of Brighton Marina, they have an ideal venue for yacht training with most of the courses taking you across the channel; a great experience offering some excellent sailing locations to learn in. Yacht Training – Unstuffed and Re-packaged Lagoon Watersports has just re-invented the way in which you can gain your yachting qualifications and valuable experience. 2006 sees the launch of a unique training package that caters for today’s time constrained lifestyles, giving you the freedom to train as quickly or as slowly as you like; whenever you like. What is the Yacht Training Package? ‘A flexible training package that allows you to gain yachting experience and RYA qualifications, which can be completed over the period of a year, in an order that suits you.' The Yacht Training Package comes in three stages: The Competent Crew Training package The Day Skipper Training Package The Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Training Package Each level of package comes with three elements to it:  a practical course a theory course GMDSS radio course. The Competent Crew Training Package for example would gain you your Competent Crew practical, Day Skipper Theory and your GMDSS radio license, all of which could be taken either as weekday or weekend courses. These packages can be booked as either weekday or weekend courses depending upon how this fits in with your lifestyle. They also allow you to book the individual parts of the three elements as you see fit, for example, you may wish to book a weekend of theory before your first weekend of practical, or vice versa. It does not stop there, Lagoon Watersports does not pressure you to choose your dates, simply book up each stage as you progress through the year, or book it all at once; the choice is yours.
